Unparallel NewTro Lace

The Unparallel NewTro Lace is a high performance, super stiff climbing shoe designed to tackle routes and problems with precise toe placements and unrivalled edging support.

Downturned and aggressive in the toe box, the NewTro Lace is built on a high performance last which is underpinned by Unparallel’s stiffest midsole. This, combined with a full length 3.5mm sole of Unparallel’s RA (Real Advanced) rubber – comparable to XS Edge in its properties – mean that the NewTro should be your go-to for performance edging and technical routes. Ideal for sport climbing and specific bouldering, we think the NewTro could be a superb option for more technical Lake District trad routes too. It’s not all about front end performance with the NewTro though, a lower-volume heel with its own midsole has been introduced for improved fit, allowing for heel hooks that stick like duct tape. 

The synthetic upper boasts a robust yet supple lining for added longevity and long-term support whilst the laced closure system allows the shoe to be precisely dialled in for a truly personalised performance fit. To round out the model and to improve both lateral rigidity and durability, UP Rand rubber has been slathered on over the toe box and around the outside of the shoe.
