Grivel Dark Machine X

The Grivel Dark Machine X is a top-end technical ice axe, specifically designed for both ice and mixed climbing.

Featuring more of a kick back in the handle than that of the Dark Machine version, the Grivel Dark Machine X is more efficient on very steep terrain. As with standard version of this tool, the X features a full carbon handle combined with a hybrid composite shaft, which utilises an alloy core wrapped with more carbon, to create an incredible balance of weight over strength. The handle is also narrower than on previous models, making easy to get a full finger wrap, and thus decrease fatigue (pump) on steep ground. As with all the latest tools it features with interchangeable blades and G-Bone shaft.
